Great work on this video! I actually learned quite a bit about the new KI! I've played the game but I'm so bad at fighting games with the controller so I just kind of stopped playing. I never knew the part about the combo breakers and what the "X" meant above my character. You've inspired me to try the new KI again.

I remember going to my local skating rink as a kid and before you entered the door I heard "HYPER COMBO" I immediately ran over to the crowd that was playing KI

Great job Noah, that was interesting and a lot of the info was as accurate as I remember it. I find it fascinating that KI still has its fanbase after all this time and that people still enjoy it. This is a great video! Lots of detail and background I wasn't even aware of. I grew up with the SNES version, but later bought the Genesis version for the Intestinal Distress level I had been missing. That being said, I still prefer the FEEL of the SNES one as opposed the the Genesis one for some reason. The controls felt a little... loose on the Genesis? Maybe it was the controller, I'm not sure. My mother used to hate it every time I fired up the game because she couldn't stand how the title was belched out, and I guess it grossed her out or something, heheh! XD I also used to love drawing Jim and Evil the Cat in middle school, often in the margins of my classwork, hah! ANYWAY, excellent video dude!
